Party Rock Tour: I’m In Milwaukee Bitch
We woke up in Milwaukee today at 3:30 p.m. and everyone was buzzing about how both our venue and the neighboring Ambassador Hotel, where our driver and crew members are staying, are haunted due to a variety of incidents, including a murder committed by Jeffery Dahmer.
Tonight’s show was at the Rave. It was one of the most high energy shows to date—it seems like the boys’ performances get better and better as each day of the tour goes by. After “I Shake, I Move”, Sky popped confetti all over Foo and the stage, joking that Foo is shooting blanks.
Not even ten minutes into the show, a girl ran wildly through the backstage area, trying to dive onstage, but security caught her in time. She ran away, hands in the air, as he continued to chase her down.
Some other intruders made an appearance, as well. Two guys in baggy clothes dove onstage, jumping around during “Bounce”, taking off their shirts and swinging their jackets around their heads like helicopters. At the end of the song, Foo goes, “see ya in jail, motherfuckers.” The whole crowd roared with laughter.
Other highlights of the show included seeing fellow Party Rock People members in the front row, as well as the “Milwaukee Party Rock Church”, Sky’s nightly preaching session. The venue dimmed the lights and “brother Redfoo”, as Sky called him, shouted, “amen, amen!”
After the show, Sky led a group of us, which included me, Pistol Pete, Bikini Girl, Shwayze, Cisco, Jason Smith, Shwayze’s bus driver, and Chelsea Paradiso, below the venue for a little adventure. Underneath the venue, several floors down, is an abandoned pool; beneath that is a boiler room straight out of a horror movie.

There is some scary handwriting on the walls down there, including something about someone “killing the locals” and “not being afraid of no ghosts.” We ventured down into the boiler room, which was dark and filled with muddy water. Pete offered Cisco a hundred dollars to climb inside the boiler, but he wasn’t going for it. Pete lured me into a dark side room to scare me with his camera flash while Chelsea screamed for Sky to watch out. “The token black guy is always the first to go,” she warned. “It’s OK”, Sky said. “I’m only half black, so I won’t get killed…just injured.”

While in the boiler room, we stumbled upon a bloody towel. We all ran upstairs to escape and Shwayze dove out at me from behind a door, nearly giving me a heart attack. Sky and Pete filmed the whole thing, so hopefully we release that soon—it is something everyone must experience.

We were shaken up, but we got it together to get ready for our afterparty. We took a Mercedes limo to Apartment 720, which is another really swanky club next to our hotel. At our table, someone (who I suspect was DJ Air) exploded a bottle of champagne and sprayed it on everyone in a 5 foot radius. Sky, Foo and Chelsea and Aria Paradiso also joined Far East Movement onstage for some freestyling and a performance of FM’s “Girls on the Dance Floor.”
