Party Rock Tour: I’m In Myrtle Bitch/I’m In Myrtle Beach
I arrived in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina today on Shwayze and Cisco Adler’s bus rather on the Party Rock bus. While I missed our bus, which has really become home over the past month and a half, it was an interesting change of scenery. They were engaging in a game called “Robitussin Freestyle”, which basically consisted of everyone going around in a circle, rapping while chugging the CVS brand, known simply as “Tussin.”
Today, Bikini Girl, DJ Air, Q and I caught a cab to our hotel. “You’re with LM...Fro? How do you pronounce that?” the cabbie asked.
When we got to the hotel, Air and Q tried figuring out whose name the room was under. “Try Q’s last name,” Air said. “It’s Q-u....f-a-g.”
Tonight’s show was at the House of Blues. It was a good one--a refreshing improvement from last night’s sound/monitor crisis. The place was packed and there were a lot of interesting characters--among them a boy that was approximately 12-years-old, who came onstage for “Yes”, and a girl rocking a big fro wig, who later tore it off and came up for “I Don’t Wanna Be.”
A lot of girls took the “flash your titties” line in “Get Crazy” to heart tonight. Most of the titties were bikini-clad, but one girl up front pulled her shirt down throughout “I Am Not A Whore.”
Joining the usual bottles of Goose and Patron onstage was a chilled bottle of Ciroc. Both Foo and Sky took turns chugging it to cool down rather than drinking their bottled water.
Another interesting addition to tonight’s show was the fan couple, Kirk and Kait, who dressed up two legos and came onstage during “Scream My Name.”

Something both funny and touching was Sky’s intro to “Boom Boom Pow”/Party Rock Church.
“When we met Q, he was an average man, working a computer desk job and wearing a three-piece suit from JC Penny. After the Party Rock movement touched his life, he changed. Now look at him, he’s a straight up rock star.”
It’s really true--everyone in the Party Rock Crew was someone that Foo believed in. He recognized potential and we all got involved in our own unique ways. Hearing Sky’s intro tonight really brought new perspective to that remix and this entire movement. I’m so happy we’re all in it together.
Not only has Party Rock touched our lives, it has a powerful impact on everyone in the audience. Every night, we see smiling faces, laughing fans and party people having the time of their lives. It transcends any concert experience. It really is so much more than that.
Our bus is rolling out to Miami, the city that inspired it all. See ya there!
