Party Rock Tour: I’m In Boise Bitch
We got snowed in on our way from Seattle to Boise, Idaho, so we ended up sleeping in our tour bus on the side of the icy road in Oregon. It ended up being really cozy: most of the boys played poker in our front lounge and in a diner; Q bought me and Nikole hot chocolate and we watched a scary movie in the back lounge.
Earlier, Foo cooked dinner for us in his new rice cooker (it was actually amazing) and he also bought us fuzzy rainbow toe socks and matching gloves.
We made it to Boise yesterday afternoon. While the boys were at sound check, Nikole, Jason Smith and I did dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory here in downtown Boise and feasted on cheesecake and crème brulee in bed.
The crowd at the show, which was held at the Knitting Factory (many music legends have performed there), was pretty insane. It turns out that Boise is a big college football town and Boise State killed Idaho in yesterday’s game. Fans were chanting, screaming and waving around their college t-shirts.
The performance was brilliant as always; my favorite highlight of last night’s show was a fan that Foo pulled onstage for “I Don’t Wanna Be.” Before the song starts, Foo says, “You remind me of my ex-girlfriend because you look like a player” and the girl really played the part well, literally chasing all of the boys around the stage. DJ Air actually escaped from his booth because she took after him.
After the show, Air popped a bottle of champagne, Pete donned Sky’s massive, fluffy red coat and the whole Party Rock entourage, including Shwayze’s group and the Paradiso Girls, went out to a spot called China Blue. Back at the hotel, Foo showed off his new MacBook Pro (he said I inspired him by ordering a new MacBook Pro yesterday, but he outdid me with the 15 inch one…a little jealous, not gonna lie). Foo, Nikole and I stayed up, goofing around and throwing her smelly Vaseline tube at each other. Last I saw it, it was on Foo’s pillow; today Nikole and I woke up with it in our bed.

The boys just left Boise to fly to Minnesota for a couple days. We’re meeting back up in Englewood, Colorado on Tuesday. Until then, it’s just me, Nikole and our sick security guard on the tour bus. Shwayze’s camp informed us that they’re not allowed to hang out with any of us because they’re convinced the whole Party Rock Crew has the swine flu. I think I managed to convince Cisco that we’re healthy, but our hacking coughs might be giving something away. I’m really hoping our security guard, Paxon, doesn’t have the swine, but I imagine we’ll find out sooner than later.
Stay tuned, party people!
