Party Rock Tour: I'm In Denver Bitch (and stuck on the side of the road in Idaho for 24 hours)

On our way from Boise, Idaho to Denver, Colorado, we smelled something foul. No, not Foo's jacket. We thought it was just burnt rubber on the road, but it turns out it was our tour bus engine.
Naturally, this occurred while the boys were at the Best Buy Club Beats event in Minnesota. It was just bikini girl Nikole, merch guy Daniel, security guy Paxon, tech guy Reggie and me on the bus. We were excited not only to have the bus to ourselves, but to get to Colorado to go snowboarding. We had two days off and couldn’t wait to explore.
Our bus driver broke the news to us as we pulled over in a remote, farm town in Idaho at midnight. Nikole spotted a sign reading, “Welcome to Georgetown.” After some Wikipedia research, we discovered that the town was home to just 500 people and was known for its bear and wolf population. We set up camp until the morning. There wasn’t a restaurant or gas station in sight, so I made everyone peanut butter and jelly sandwiches while we watched Dr. Drew’s Sex Rehab and For the Love of Ray J.
We woke up the following morning, excited to check out this mysterious museum that was supposedly down the road. We wandered down, but there wasn’t a museum. Instead, we ran into some horses on a farm and made friends with them. Later, we went to a diner about five miles down the road. It turned out that everyone working there was from California. It was beyond me why anyone would relocate from Hollywood to Idaho, but we started to see its charm the longer we stayed. The mountains were beautiful and everyone we met was incredibly nice.
We finally hit the road around 5 p.m. the night before last. We drove through Wyoming and made it to Colorado around 3 in the morning yesterday.
Colorado was just as beautiful as Idaho. It was snowing and freezing cold, but I went out in Party Rock shorts because it was all I had. We met back up with the boys on our tour bus and our driver Promise, Nikole and I went to a “bomb ass BBQ place” at Reek, Izzy and Q’s recommendation. All the guys loved it, but all of the girls hated it.
Despite the BBQ-related setback and slipping in the ice a few times, the night was amazing. It was a fun time at the Gothic Theatre. Some fans threw LMFAO hats on stage and Izzy, Q and Sky sported them through the show. For the first time during this tour, a lot of girls came onstage during the show (prior to “Yes”). It was unexpected, but a lot of fun because it brought me back to the small club shows LMFAO used to do before selling out large venues. It’s amazing to see that LMFAO will never lose sight of who they really are.

We took two Hummer limos to our afterparty at Suite Two Hundred, which was a really swanky club in Denver. Jason Smith (Shwayze’s DJ) was the DJ for the night, playing all the LMFAO hits and remixes. Cisco Adler did some cage dancing, the bathroom attendant rocked our Party Rock glasses and Air and I continued our tradition of consuming entire bottles of champagne. We partied with some of Q and Izzy’s friends from La Puente, too. The party continued back on the LMFAO bus, as well as the Shwayze bus, where Cisco strummed an acoustic guitar and they showed off a stuffed tiger head on the wall of their bus. What a coincidence—I tried on the same animal head in Wyoming.
We just got to Lincoln, Nebraska…stay tuned!
