Party Rock Tour: I’m In Nebraska Bitch

There are two things we know for sure about Lincoln, Nebraska: they really love corn and football, but mostly corn.

The only thing I knew about Nebraska before we arrived was that Children of the Corn took place here. Sure enough, our hotel is called the Cornhusker.

There’s a really cool downtown area here in Lincoln, so some of us went out to explore. Meanwhile, Foo played chess with some guys at the venue. The driver taking us to the show said that Foo beat him after just a few minutes.

The venue, the Bourbon Theatre, had an interesting green room to say the least. It was basically a cold basement with folding chairs and a disco ball, but they had two bottles of Goose, Patron and chocolate, so we couldn’t complain.

It was a really fun crowd tonight—a ton of girls came onstage and a lot of party rockers in the crowd were sporting the LMFAO frames (available at http://www.partyrocklife.com). After the “Yes” finale, the boys and fans stayed onstage to continue the party, dancing to “Get U Home" with Shwayze and co.

Back on the bus after the show, Pistol Pete whipped me with licorice (I’m in so much pain right now) while Sky, Reek and Shwayze playfully beat each other up. We cracked open a few beers and kicked it with our bus driver for a bit before heading back to our hotel. There’s a party going on in Q’s room and Izzy and Q’s brother, GQ, and I are hanging out in Foo’s room at the moment.

We’re excited to go to Lawrence, Kansas tomorrow—the Shwayze guys and our driver tell us it’s a really cool place. We leave in four hours…let’s goooo!

Hopefully you're not bored of corn. Iowa is some what filled with the shit. Thankfully since they're is nothing to do in Iowa we mostly just drink and party.

Your concert was the best one I have ever been too. You were all about your fans not like most artists that come to NE. I do agree that place was ghetto, since I that was the first time I have ever been there. Next time you come to Nebraska, have the concert in Omaha (that's where I live) it is way better and there are a whole lot more things to do other than just eat corn lol. We have better venues and the town doesn't look like you just went back in time. You guys are awesome, and again I will have to say the best concert I have ever been too!
